Broad outline of the Role

- Participate in various stages of supply chain processes, in area of procurement/vendor management/negotiation/ sourcing initiatives/contract management to ensure service availability to the customers and at the same time driving cost efficiencies, quality management and timely delivery of orders. This is an operational role which is responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results for projects undertaken as per business requirements.

Specifics of the Role

- Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) projects, including POP sites (MAN / NLD) and the fiber network
- Managing AMC renewal of all infra assets installed at our POP site
- Managing the End of Life cycle Infra asset replacement (which primarily includes Battery Bank, SMPS, Cooling Equipment etc)
- Operational excellence initiatives such as touchless PO implementation, Catalogue & OLA preparation
- Monthly dashboard preparation & reporting
- Frontend customer-sponsored projects, including Amazon Kuiper, Int’l projects

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor Degree in engineering or business or equivalent qualification




- 3-6 years of experience in supply chain or indirect sourcing roles

Other Knowledge & Skills

- Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Qliksense
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Expertise in Service procurement before on-boarding vendor.
- Good understanding of contracting management and ensuring risk coverage in contract.

Key Responsibilities

- Review procurement volumes by vendor and product class or type, thereby, identify areas for Rate Contracts or Frame Contracts, and finalize the same.

- Engage with internal user teams for understanding requirements of new projects or Operations requirements and deals.

- Collaborate with key persons including demand and delivery manager to ensure clarity of specifications and SLAs.

- Managing sourcing and procurement

- Work with vendors or Planning team

- to expedite deliveries and support delivery related challenges.

- Review logistics to make sure they run smoothly.

- Review supply chain inventory and records

- Analyze data from delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.

- Manage procurement negotiations, order processing and maintaining the supply of required services.

- Ensure vendor compliance to Supply Management Policy and Procedures
