Payroll is the systematic process of compensating a company's employees. It involves calculating total earnings (gross pay), applying taxes and deductions, and distributing net payments to staff. It also requires filing statutory compliances and managing records. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]The payroll process can be broken down into five core areas: [1]

- Gross Pay Calculation: Summing up basic salary, overtime, allowances (e.g., HRA, transport), bonuses, and commissions. [1, 2]
- Deductions: Withholding mandatory taxes and non-statutory amounts like retirement fund contributions, health insurance, or loan repayments. [1, 2]




- Net Pay Execution: Processing the final take-home pay via direct deposit or check, and generating detailed payslips for employees. [1, 2]
- Compliance & Tax Filing: Calculating employer taxes and remitting all withheld funds (like TDS or PF in India, or Social Security in the US) to the appropriate government authorities. [1, 2, 3]
- Record Keeping: Storing accurate timesheets, payroll registers, and tax reports for audits and business accounting

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
