About the Role

Sony India Software Centre is looking for an experienced SAP OpenText VIM Consultant with deep expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Intelligent Capture for SAP Solutions (IC4S). The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise invoice management solutions across SAP S/4HANA environments.

Mandatory Skills

10–15 years of SAP experience, including 10+ years of hands-on expertise in OpenText VIM & OCR/IC4S solutions

Strong expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)

Experience with Intelligent Capture for SAP Solutions (IC4S)

Strong understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management)

Strong understanding of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling)

Experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P/PTP) processes

SAP Vendor Invoice Management implementation and support experience

Experience with SAP Business Workflow and SAP Fiori applications

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture, blueprinting, implementation, and optimization of OpenText VIM and IC4S solutions.

Design and deploy OpenText VIM implementations across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Configure inbound document processing, document pipelines, document types, approval workflows, and exception handling.





Configure and optimize OpenText IC4S for intelligent invoice capture and OCR processing.

Improve OCR accuracy using machine learning and adaptive recognition features.

Integrate VIM seamlessly with SAP MM for PO, GR, MIRO, invoice verification, and automated exception handling.

Integrate VIM with SAP FICO for Non-PO invoices, tax configuration, GL postings, cost center, and profit center accounting.

Collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements while following SAP Clean Core principles.

Define and implement document archiving strategies using ArchiveLink, OpenText Content Server (OTAS), or SAP Content Server.

Troubleshoot and resolve invoice processing, accounting, and logistics issues.

Partner with business stakeholders to automate financial operations and improve invoice processing efficiency.

SAP S/4HANA implementation experience

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience leading global implementation or rollout projects

Ability to mentor technical teams and provide solution architecture guidance
