Position: Quality Control Chemist

Work Location: Nandore, Palghar (East) - Plant is approx. 4 KMs Inside from Palghar Railway Station.

Working Days: Saturday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with Friday as Weekly Off.

Prior Experience Desired: Yes, 6 months - 1 Year of QC experience preferably with a Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical Company.

Salary: Upto Rs. 20,000/- per month (Gross CTC).

Academic Background Desired: B.Sc. (Chemistry) / M.Sc. (Chemistry)

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate would be responsible for sampling, analysis, testing, line clearance, release related documentation and other related quality control and quality assurance functions in respect of Raw Materials / Packaging Materials / Finished Goods / In Process / Validation and Stability Samples.

Job Responsibilities:

- To sample the incoming raw material / packaging material.
- To conduct analysis and testing of raw materials / packaging materials / finished goods / other activities and intermediates with the help of analytical instruments and techniques.
- To calibrate / verify analytical instruments / balances.
- To troubleshoot analytical instruments.
- To coordinate and follow-ups with the engineering department for timely availability of their services to attend breakdowns,



interruptions and scheduling of maintenance.
- To inspect packaging lines and issues line clearances.
- To review and update raw material and packaging material specifications.
- To prepare testing specifications.
- To prepare, review and update working standards.
- To maintain calibration records of instruments.
- To prepare trend analysis of finished products.
- To generate purchase requisition for the consumables / glassware’s / chemicals and other laboratory aids / spares required for the department.
- To perform chemical assays and standardizations of reagents.
- To prepare SOPs, reviews for biannual review and prepare training outlines.
- To maintain and control inventory of reagents, chemicals, glassware’s, etc.
- To conduct stability studies of reagents.
- To conduct laboratory errors.
- To validate instruments, equipments, processes, analytical methods.
- To prepare and evaluate stability data.
- To prepare stability protocols.
- To validate stability indicating methods.
- To perform any other tasks as and when being assigned by seniors / company’s management team.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
