Manual Software Tester

Experience: 2-4 Years

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with around 2+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and usability of applications across different platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements and functional specifications
- Write, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform functional, UI, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
- Test applications on web, Android, and iOS platforms
- Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira/Taiga
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Validate APIs using tools like Postman (basic level)
- Collaborate with developers and QA team to resolve issues
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure proper documentation of test cases and test results
- Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and STLC
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Ability to write clear, detailed,



and structured test cases
- Experience or willingness to use Gen AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, etc.) to improve efficiency in test case creation and documentation
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Taiga, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.)
- Basic understanding of SQL queries
- Positive to Have:
- Experience in eCommerce or Magento-based applications
- Basic exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.)
- Knowledge of mobile testing tools (Android Studio, Xcode basics)
- Experience in performance or security basic testing
- Understanding of responsive testing and device compatibility
- Soft Skills:
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Hands-on experience in real-time projects (web + mobile)
- Ability to understand end-to-end user journeys
- Experience working in Agile environments
