Java POS Application Developer (Experience: 3–5 Years)

Job Description

-
Develop, enhance, and support Java based Retail POS applications
- Build backend services and REST APIs using Spring Boot and Node.js
- Implement core POS/payment features: transactions, pricing, tax, promotions,



and receipts
- Manage builds and dependencies using Maven/Gradle
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of POS systems
- Collaborate with functional teams and support store deployments

Key Skills

-
Java (8+), Spring Boot, RESTful services, Node.js
- Frontend experience with ReactJS or VueJS
- Maven/Gradle, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Unit testing using JUnit/Mockito

- Microservices architecture
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse
- Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Retail POS domain knowledge (strong advantage)
- Good communication and collaboration skills
