As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for turning design concepts into functional web pages. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain user-friendly, responsive websites and applications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for coding, and a commitment to staying current with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to develop and implement new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and productive code while adhering to best practices in front-end development.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to front-end performance and browser compatibility.
- Ensure web applications are mobile-friendly and work across various devices and screen sizes.
- Use Git for version control and collaboration on projects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and continuously improve your skill set.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- A basic understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
