Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive bedside care for critically ill patients in the ICU and High Dependency Units (HDU).
- Evaluate, admit, and manage ICU patients through daily clinical rounds and emergency interventions.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures, including:
- Endotracheal Intubation
- Central Venous Catheter Insertion
- Arterial Line Placement
- Basic Ventilator Management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure evidence-based patient management.
- Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate effectively with nursing staff, Resident Medical Officers (RMOs), and consultants.
- Communicate patient progress and treatment plans with families in coordination with hospital teams.
- Participate in mortality reviews, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Attend academic sessions, case discussions, and continuous medical education programs.
EligibilityEducation
Candidates should possess any one of the following:
- MD/DNB in:
- Internal Medicine
- Anesthesiology
- Pulmonology
- Emergency Medicine
- DA/MD/DNB Anesthesia (for Anesthesia-specific roles)
- MBBS + MEM (for Emergency Medicine positions)
- Candidates with Diploma qualifications and 3–5 years of ICU experience may also be considered for select roles.
Experience
- 0–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Fresh MD/DNB graduates with ICU exposure are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in ICU or Critical Care is preferred but not mandatory.
