Responsibilities:
- support general accounting functions including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and trial balance preparation
- Assist in the preparation of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
- Raise sales invoices, proforma invoices, and process online billing
- Prepare credit notes and debit notes for customers
- Assist with filing monthly GST returns, TDS returns, and coordination with compliance filings
- Maintain inventory records and support purchase order documentation
- Reconcile supplier and client ledgers and confirm balances periodically
- Track staff and company expenses and process related reimbursements
- Support payroll statutory compliance (PF, PT, ESI),
and employee/employer TDS deductions
- Assist in vendor and client communications for finance operations
- Help manage annual tax filings (ITR) and support audit-readiness documentation
- Prepare or assist in preparing financial reports, analysis, and dashboards
- Support finance team with Excel-based reports, reconciliations, and data consolidation
Desired Capabilities :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s preferred)
- 2+ years’ experience in general or tax accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented setting
- Familiarity with SAP
