Vasca Bakehouse & Café is a premium artisan bakery and specialty café committed to delivering exceptional food, coffee, and guest experiences. We are looking for an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead daily operations, manage the team, and ensure outstanding service standards.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café and bakery.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest feedback professionally.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, training, and performance.
- Monitor daily sales, cash handling, billing, and store reports.
- Maintain inventory, place purchase orders, and control stock levels.
- Minimize wastage and ensure food cost and operational cost targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with chefs, baristas, and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report operational issues.
- Drive sales through upselling, local marketing initiatives, and guest engagement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.





Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience as a Store Manager, Restaurant Manager, Café Manager, or similar role.
- Experience in a premium café, bakery, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and daily operations.
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills (Excel, billing software, reports).
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Preferred Skills

- Experience managing a team of 10+ employees.
- Strong customer relationship and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of café operations, coffee service, and bakery products.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and improve business performance.
