Job Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all Human Resource functions across the organization. This role plays a strategic and operational part in building a high-performing workforce by overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, payroll coordination, and HR policy implementation. The HR Manager will ensure that HR practices align with the company's vision, culture, and business objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable labor laws.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Human Resource Strategy
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Support organizational growth through workforce planning and talent management.
- Build a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop annual recruitment plans based on manpower requirements.
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing requirements.
- Build relationships with job portals, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions.
- Ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
3. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Ensure all employee documentation is complete and maintained.
- Oversee probation reviews, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and resignations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover trends.
4. Performance Management
- Design and manage the performance appraisal system.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Support managers in addressing performance issues.
- Monitor employee productivity and performance metrics.
5. Learning & Development
- Identify training and development needs across departments.
- Organize technical, behavioral, and leadership training programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
- Develop succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
6. Employee Relations
- Promote a positive and collaborative work setting.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality while resolving workplace issues.
7. HR Operations
- Supervise attendance, leave management, and employee records.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS and personnel files.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the Finance department.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
8. Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, audits,
and compliance reporting.
- Advise management on employment legislation and HR risks.
9. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
10. Policy Development
- Draft, review, and update HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure consistent implementation of company policies.
- Communicate policy changes effectively across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA / Master's Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 2–3 years in an HR leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in the food manufacturing, retail, hospitality, or FMCG industry is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
