Job Description

We are seeking an Export Sourcing Specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing activities for international buyers across multiple export categories. The role focuses on translating overseas buyer requirements into clear sourcing specifications, identifying and evaluating Indian export-ready manufacturers, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting production through pre-shipment readiness.

Core responsibilities:

- Understand overseas buyer requirements and convert them into clear sourcing details (materials, size, quality, packaging, labeling).
- Map supplier clusters across India (textiles, handicrafts, FMCG, herbal products, packaging) using online directories, trade associations, and field contacts.
- Send RFQs, collate quotations, and compare supplier cost sheets (raw material, processing, packing, inland freight).
- Coordinate sample production and logistics: sample cost negotiation, timelines, sampling QA checklist.
- Conduct supplier diligence: factory visit checklist, capacity verification, financial & legal checks, certifications.
- Prepare supplier scorecards (quality, delivery, communication, price) and update supplier database.
- Negotiate MOQ, lead time,



tooling costs and payment milestones.
- Support commissioning stage: confirm production schedule, first piece approvals, mid-run checks.
- Work with QA & Logistics to ensure pre-shipment compliance and packaging readiness.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, or Commerce.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in export sourcing, procurement, vendor development, or global supply chain (Export background preferred).
- Robust negotiation skills and practical knowledge of supplier capabilities & manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of product costing and ability to build cost breakdowns.
- Willingness and ability to travel for factory visits and supplier audits.
- Strong communication skills to interact with international buyers and domestic suppliers.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
