Job Summary
C&E; Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Shift In-Charge / Mould Setter to oversee production activities during assigned shifts while ensuring efficient mould setting and machine operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in injection moulding processes and be capable of supervising shop floor operations to achieve production, quality, and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mould setting and machine setting as per the production plan.
- Ensure proper machine setup and process parameter adjustments for efficient production.
- Supervise machine operators and monitor overall shift production activities.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards and minimizing rejection levels.
- Identify and resolve basic mould, machine, and process-related production issues.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance, Quality, and Production Planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor machine performance and optimize production efficiency.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and proper handover documentation between shifts.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, 5S practices,
and housekeeping requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Candidate Profile
- ITI, Diploma, or any relevant technical qualification preferred.
- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in mould setting and injection moulding operations.
- Experience in TPR, TPU, PVC, Rubber, Plastic, or Footwear Sole Manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mould changing, machine setup, and process parameter settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic production and machine-related issues.
- Good leadership skills with experience in supervising production operators.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Strong focus on quality, productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.
