Hiring: Resident IT Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite)

About the Role

SN Technology is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Resident IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage day-to-day IT operations at a client location. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of Windows-based enterprise environments, and the ability to coordinate with internal technical teams and technology vendors.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication, ownership, and a service-oriented mindset.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User Support

- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office application issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain end-user systems.
- Resolve hardware and software incidents within agreed timelines.

IT Infrastructure Support

- Support Active Directory user management, password resets, and Group Policy implementation.
- Manage Microsoft 365 user administration and licensing.
- Perform basic server health checks and infrastructure monitoring.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with ISPs, OEMs, and third-party vendors for issue resolution.

Asset & Operations Management

- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Track incidents using the ticketing system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly support reports.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks.

Audit & Compliance Support





- Assist in preparation of IT audit documentation.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Help track and close audit observations.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and compliance records.

Security Support

- Ensure endpoint protection is functioning correctly.
- Assist in implementing security recommendations.
- Review system patch compliance and antivirus status.
- Coordinate remediation activities with internal technical teams.

- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN)

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other UEM/MDM platforms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
- Basic firewall administration (Sophos, Fortinet, SonicWall, etc.)
- Backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis or similar)
- Exposure to ISO 27001 or IT audit processes

Preferred Certifications

- Microsoft Certified (M365 / Azure / Windows)
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
