Senior GenAI Application Engineer

To design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer with a strong Python backend development background who has hands-on experience building production-ready AI applications.

You will work on developing intelligent AI assistants, agentic workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, and AI-powered enterprise solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing business applications. The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering, cloud technologies, and production deployment of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade GenAI and Agentic AI applications.
- Build scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Develop intelligent AI assistants, RAG applications, and autonomous AI agents.
- Integrate LLM-powered capabilities into existing enterprise applications.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design secure and scalable AI architectures using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Develop and integrate AI tools, workflows, and external services with agentic AI frameworks.
- Deploy AI applications using AWS cloud services and containerized environments.
- Build production-ready solutions with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to convert Proof of Concepts (POCs) into scalable production applications.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and deployment issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design discussions.

- Secure communication between AI agents and enterprise applications
- Decoupled AI system design

AWS Cloud

Experience with:

- Amazon Bedrock
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon ECS
- Amazon EKS
- AWS Step Functions
- Amazon OpenSearch
- Amazon DynamoDB
- Containerized deployments

Exposure to AWS AgentCore or AWS Transform is a plus.

Databases

Experience with:

Preferred Qualifications

- Robust understanding of software architecture and backend engineering best practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Visual Studio Code.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
