Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally/ERP.
- Record receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions accurately.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations on a periodic basis.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment after necessary approvals.
- Prepare customer and vendor account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support GST, TDS, Qualified Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Maintain records of fixed assets, advances, deposits, and loan-related transactions.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and consultants during audits and assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial data as required by management.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and fund flow reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and RBI/NBFC regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter (Preferred)
Experience
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an NBFC, financial services, or banking sector.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with RBI/NBFC compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
