Job Title: FPGA Design Engineer (1–3 Years Experience)

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated FPGA Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in digital design and hardware-based logic implementation. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in FPGA development, hands-on experience with HDL coding, and a passion for building efficient and reliable hardware systems.

Requirements:

Core Technical Skills:

- Robust understanding of digital electronics, including combinational and sequential circuits, FSMs, and timing concepts
- Hands-on experience with HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL
- Ability to design, simulate, and implement FPGA-based systems
- Good knowledge of timing analysis, clock domains, and design constraints
- Understanding of FPGA architecture (LUTs, flip-flops, BRAM, DSP blocks)

Tools & Technologies:

- Experience with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or similar
- Familiarity with simulation tools like ModelSim or QuestaSim
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL or Python is a plus
- Exposure to debugging tools such as ILA or SignalTap

Design & Verification Skills:

- Ability to write clean, modular, and synthesizable HDL code
- Understanding of design optimization for performance and resource utilization




- Experience in writing testbenches and performing functional verification
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, I2C, or AXI

Problem-Solving & Debugging:

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to debug timing violations and logic errors effectively
- Experience in identifying and resolving hardware-level issues

System-Level Understanding:

- Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software interaction
- Awareness of system integration concepts involving processors, memory, and peripherals

Soft Skills:

- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and quality

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Exposure to high-speed digital design concepts
- Basic knowledge of ASIC design flow
- Familiarity with Linux environment
- Experience with version control systems such as Git

Portfolio Expectations:

- 1–2 FPGA-based projects (academic or professional) demonstrating practical implementation
- Ability to clearly explain design approach, challenges, and solutions
