Job Description – Litigation Lawyer - Mumbai and Bangalore and Chennai

Position- Associate / Senior Associate – IP Litigation

Experience

2–7 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Handle litigation relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, industrial designs, trade secrets, domain names, and passing off.
- Represent clients before the High Courts, Commercial Courts, District Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Support arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations relating to IP disputes.
- Draft plaints, written statements, applications, affidavits, appeals, rejoinders, legal notices, replies, and settlement agreements.
- Prepare briefs and case notes for senior counsel.
- Draft cease-and-desist notices and legal opinions on infringement and enforcement matters.
- Review pleadings and litigation documents to ensure legal accuracy and quality.




- Conduct legal research on statutes, judicial precedents, and emerging developments in intellectual property law.
- Prepare legal opinions on infringement, validity, enforcement, licensing, and commercialization of IP rights.
- Advise clients on litigation risks, enforcement strategies, and dispute resolution options.
- Monitor developments in Indian and international IP jurisprudence.
- Track litigation progress and prepare periodic status reports for clients.

Qualifications

- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.
- LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law or Commercial Laws is desirable.
