Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic QC Head to lead the Quality Control function for our

cosmetics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have 10–15 years of experience in the

cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing industry, with proven expertise

in quality control systems, laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and team management.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, packaging materials, in-process

products, and finished goods meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead and manage the Quality Control department, including laboratory operations and QC

personnel.

 Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control procedures, SOPs, specifications, and

testing protocols.

 Ensure testing and approval of:

o Raw Materials

o Packaging Materials

o In-process Samples

o Finished Goods

 Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

 Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, deviations, and implement CAPA (Corrective

& Preventive Actions).

 Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 22716, and applicable cosmetic regulatory guidelines.

 Coordinate with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Regulatory Affairs to maintain product

quality.

 Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (COA), test reports, and batch release

documentation.

 Maintain calibration and validation of laboratory instruments and equipment.

 Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory/customer audits.





 Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

 Manage laboratory inventory, chemicals, standards, and reference materials.

 Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and quality metrics to senior management.

 Train, mentor, and develop the QC team to improve technical competency and productivity.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of cosmetic manufacturing processes.

 Hands-on experience in Quality Control laboratories.

 Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO 22716, and cosmetic regulations.

 Experience handling laboratory instruments and testing methodologies.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

 Good documentation and reporting skills.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Eligibility Criteria

 Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology) or B.Pharm/M.Pharm, or

equivalent qualification.

 Experience: 10–15 years in Quality Control within the cosmetics, personal care,

pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing industry.

 Minimum 4–5 years of experience leading a QC team in a managerial capacity.

 Experience in handling regulatory and customer audits is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

 Proven experience in managing a team of QC executives, chemists, and microbiologists.

 Strong understanding of cosmetic product testing, stability studies, and microbiological

testing.

 Experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 Excellent decision-making and people management skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
