Job description

Role & responsibilities:

To check models and fabrication & erection drawings as per spec/scope on time and within budget and to render support to the IR/Detailing team in terms of quality, productivity & delivery.

- Checking of MTO models in Tekla structures and performing completeness checks.
- Checking of G.A. & marking plan drawings for all types of structures.
- Generation of technical queries and administration of same.
- Review and updating of detailed structures for meeting the safety standards.
- Checking of preliminary material lists and associated rolling and carcass drawings.
- Checking of bolt location and bolt summary lists.
- Checking and incorporation of sub-trades details e.g. flooring, decking, cladding, etc.) into relevant models
- Co-ordination and administration of contracts whenever necessary
- Checking of Typical and mass connection as per Design Calc
- Model Clash Check
- Checking of fabrication drawing for all type of main structural members of all types of Building structures
- Model and drawing checking of miscellaneous items.
- Quality checks. Like Interface check, Bolt access, Weld access, Erection feasibility, etc.
- Depending on project requirements,



checking of Galvanizing holes, Finish, deck support requirements, etc
- Checking the bought-out items. Like Safety gates, Sag rods, Studs, etc.,
- Client comments review and updates check
- Approval and fabrication packs check
- Working model and completeness check

Core Job Skills:

- Knowledge in Structural Steel Detailing
- Checking of fabrication and erection feasibilities
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection
- Understanding client drawings and details
- Reading design calcs and connection marking plans
- Exposure to structural-related Codes AISC, EC, Canadian, Australian & OSHAS, PIP,
- Units familiar with both Imperial/Metric systems
- Exposure to Preassembly , modular steel, and various treatments: fireproof, galvanized, and Painted
- Infrastructure/Bridge complex structure that requires preset/camber/axial shortening
- Experience in temporary/erecting/transporting steels
- Hands-on experience in Lifting and handling mechanisms
- Better Software utilization
- Tekla warehouse Tools exposure & utilization
- Change management
- Site work
- TQ/Hold management

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
