Finance & Accounts Trainer

Job Title: Finance & Accounts Trainer

Reporting To: Internal Training Manager

Location: Mohali

Working Hours: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Finance & Accounts Trainer who can bridge the gap between theoretical accounting concepts and real-world business applications through cutting-edge and industry-focused training methodologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering training on Finance & Accounting processes, developing training content, conducting assessments, and helping learners become job-ready professionals.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in finance operations such as R2R, P2P, and O2C, along with a good understanding of ERP systems and accounting best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

Conduct training sessions on the following topics:

- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Cash Flow Statements
- Financial Statement Analysis
Budgeting and Forecasting

Responsibilities include:

- Deliver highly engaging, outcome-driven, and interactive training sessions that combine conceptual learning with practical applications.
- Ensure trainees understand accounting principles, finance processes, and industry best practices.
- Conduct refresher sessions and workshops as required.
Encourage active participation and create an interactive learning environment.

2. Training Content Development

Prepare and continuously improve training materials, including:

- Training presentations (PPTs)
- Training manuals and handbooks
- Case studies and practical exercises
MCQs, quizzes, and assessments

Additional responsibilities:





- Design scenario-based exercises and industry-specific case studies.
- Update training content based on business requirements, process changes, and trainee feedback.
- Develop engaging learning materials to improve knowledge retention and learner experience.
Create training roadmaps and learning plans for different learner groups.

3. ERP & Technology Training

Train learners on the following systems and tools:

- QuickBooks
- NetSuite
- Workday
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Responsibilities include:

- Explain how ERP systems support finance and accounting operations.
Train learners on practical business scenarios using ERP applications.

4. Assessment, Coaching & Mentoring

- Conduct tests, assignments, and practical evaluations.
- Assess trainees’ understanding, technical skills, and overall performance.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitor learner progress and recommend improvement plans.
- Identify training gaps and provide additional support where required.
- Support trainees to become job-ready and achieve learning objectives.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and performance trackers.
- Support process improvement initiatives and special projects.

6. Additional Responsibilities

- Assist the Internal Training Manager in various activities and projects as assigned from time to time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and implement learning solutions.




Participate in initiatives that promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Master's Degree

M.Com / MBA (Finance) – Preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

- Have strong practical knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes.
- Possess hands-on experience in R2R, P2P, and O2C processes.
- Be able to design and deliver scenario-based and case-study-driven training programs.
- Have experience working with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Workday (preferred but not mandatory).
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Have experience training freshers as well as experienced professionals.
Be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and business processes.
