- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) of vehicle structures to optimize performance and manufacturability.
- Build FE assemblies, including complex connections like spot and seam welds.
- Perform linear and nonlinear static analyses to evaluate component strength under applied loads and boundary conditions.
- Carry out modal, frequency response, and transient analyses for various operating scenarios.
- Estimate fatigue life, including weld durability, to support design improvements.
- Postprocess results, prepare reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Recommend design modifications to meet criteria while considering manufacturing and packaging constraints.
