Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer specifications, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product inspections.
- Review fabrication drawings, welding procedures, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with welding quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and customer quality audits.




- Conduct internal quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, material traceability records, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Design, Projects, and Dispatch teams to ensure quality compliance.
- Train employees on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor quality KPIs and submit regular reports to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional certification in Quality Management or Welding Inspection will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Experience in the PEB, Structural Steel, Heavy Fabrication, or Manufacturing industry is mandatory.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and quality management principles.
- Experience with structural steel fabrication, welding inspections, and dimensional inspections.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Familiarity with welding codes, material inspection, and fabrication quality standards.
- Ability to analyse quality data and implement process improvements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and quality documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies.
