Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fabrication/Welder Helper to support our welding and fabrication team. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn and assist skilled tradespeople in the creation of metal structures and components. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and capable of following instructions. The Fabrication/Welder Helper will contribute to the smooth operation of the department by providing essential support.

Job Responsibilities:

 Material Preparation:

- Clean metal surfaces using wire brushes, grinders, or other tools as instructed.
- Deburr and bevel edges of metal parts as directed.
- Assist with cutting materials using saws, torches, or shears under supervision.
- Gather and transport materials to and from work areas.

 Welding Assistance:

- Assist welders by holding materials in place using clamps or fixtures.
- Clean welds using chipping hammers and wire brushes.




- Observe welding processes and report any issues to the welder.
- Assist with setting up welding equipment and ensuring it is in protected working order.

 Fabrication Assistance:

- Assist fabricators with the assembly of metal components.
- Operate basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders) under direct supervision.
- Help with layout and marking of materials as directed.

 Work Area Maintenance:

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, removing scrap metal, and storing tools and equipment properly.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of welding and fabrication stations.

 Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Education:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)

Experience:

- Arc Welding: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

- Malayalam, Tamil, English & Hindi (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- ITI certificate (Preferred)
- ITI Fitter (Preferred)

Location:

- Palakkad, Kerala (Preferred)

Shift availability:
