Hiring: Project Procurement – Mechanical (Greenfield Projects)

About the Role

We are looking for a high-impact Project Procurement qualified to drive end-to-end procurement for large-scale greenfield projects. This role offers ownership of critical mechanical procurement packages and the opportunity to directly influence project cost, timelines, and execution success.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

End-to-End Project Procurement Ownership

- Lead procurement of critical mechanical equipment & packages (static, rotating, and bulk)
- Drive sourcing strategy, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations

Techno-Commercial Leadership

- Evaluate technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs
- Lead techno-commercial comparisons (TCC) and finalize purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with global standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)

Vendor Strategy & Development

- Build and manage a strong vendor ecosystem
- Drive vendor performance, audits, and long-term partnerships

Project Execution & Expediting

- Align procurement with project timelines
- Ensure timely delivery through proactive expediting, inspections, and logistics coordination





Cost Optimization & Governance

- Deliver measurable cost savings via value engineering and alternate sourcing
- Ensure procurement within budget and policy compliance

What We’re Looking For

- 8–10 years of experience in project procurement (mechanical equipment / packages / bulk)
- Strong exposure to Chemicals, Pharma, Heavy Engineering, Steel, or Manufacturing sectors
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications
- Proven expertise in negotiation, contracts, and vendor management

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
