Job Summary

The Transport Supervisor is responsible for managing daily transport operations, with a strong focus on driver coordination, route management, and timely vehicle movement. The role requires maintaining valuable relationships with drivers, ensuring operational efficiency, and meeting delivery/service targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driver Coordination & Management

- Maintain strong communication and relationship with drivers
- Assign duties, routes, and schedules to drivers
- Ensure driver availability for daily operations
- Address driver concerns and resolve issues promptly

2. Transport Operations

- Plan and monitor vehicle movement and route scheduling
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Track vehicle utilization and performance
- Coordinate with internal teams for transport requirements

3. Compliance & Documentation

- Verify driver documents (License, Badge, Insurance)
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations
- Maintain trip sheets, logs, and records

4. Monitoring & Reporting

- Monitor fuel usage and control operational costs
- Prepare daily transport reports
- Track delays, breakdowns,



and take corrective actions

5. Safety & Maintenance

- Ensure drivers follow safety guidelines
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and servicing
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately

Key Skills Required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good driver handling and coordination ability
- Basic knowledge of transport operations
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 12th / Diploma/Degree
- Fresher / Experience in transport - logistics supervision preferred
- Valid knowledge of vehicle operations
