- Excellent editing and proofreading skills
- Solid command of written English and grammar
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Familiarity with AP or other style guides
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to writers
- Proven experience in an editorial role, preferably in news media
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
