Typical job roles and responsibilities include:

- Deliver classroom lectures on dialysis technology, renal anatomy and physiology, patient care, infection control, and related subjects.
- Conduct practical and laboratory sessions on operating dialysis machines and performing dialysis procedures.
- Demonstrate correct techniques for patient preparation, vascular access care, machine setup, and monitoring during dialysis.
- Supervise students during clinical postings in hospitals or dialysis centers.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and examinations.
- Assess student performance through practical exams, written tests, and clinical evaluations.
- Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols,



infection prevention, and ethical standards.
- Participate in curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with hospitals and healthcare professionals to arrange clinical training.
- Stay updated on advances in nephrology, dialysis equipment, and teaching methods through continuing education and research.
