Nursing Superintendent / Head Nurse / Duty Medical Officer
Job Summary:
A Pediatric Staff Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. The nurse monitors patient health, administers medications, assists doctors during treatment, educates parents, and ensures secure and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:Patient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
Emergency & Critical Care
- Respond promptly to pediatric emergencies.
- Assist in resuscitation and emergency procedures.
- Monitor critically ill children in PICU/NICU if assigned.
Infection Control & Safety
- Follow hospital infection control protocols.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of pediatric units.
- Handle biomedical waste as per hospital policy.
- Freshers or experienced pediatric nurses preferred.
- Experience in NICU/PICU is an added advantage.

Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts including night duty
- Emergency duty as per hospital requirement
Salary:
As per hospital norms and experience.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
