HIRING: SITE INCHARGE – PROJECT DEVELOPMENT & PLANT EXPANSION

Pradhan Industries is looking for experienced and field-oriented Site Incharges for its ongoing Project Development and Plant Expansion works at Lakshmipur, Bandhamandi and Bainibasa units.

The candidate must be from a mechanical background and should have strong practical experience in industrial plant erection, machinery installation, civil foundation work, fabrication, structural work, site execution, contractor coordination and plant expansion activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day project development and plant expansion activities at site.
- Handle mechanical erection, installation, alignment, fitting, fabrication and commissioning-related site works.
- Supervise erection and installation of industrial machinery such as crushers, conveyors, ball mills, agitators, flotation cells, filters, dryers, pulverisers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, pipelines, ducts, hoppers, chutes and other plant equipment.
- Coordinate civil foundation works, machine foundations, equipment bases, shed work, structural platforms, industrial flooring and related civil activities.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, layout drawings, foundation drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings and basic civil drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, civil workers, erection teams, welders, fitters, crane operators, labour contractors and site staff for smooth execution of work.
- Monitor site progress on a daily basis and ensure that the work is completed as per priority, approved plan, quality requirement and timeline.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, grouting, anchoring, foundation checking and safe installation of all machines and structures.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, civil, production, process, stores,



purchase and management teams for uninterrupted project execution.
- Prepare daily site progress reports covering work completed, manpower engaged, machinery used, materials received, pending work, delay reasons and next-day planning.
- Identify bottlenecks, shortages, site constraints and contractor delays and immediately report the same to the Management.
- Check material requirement at site and follow up for timely arrangement of steel, cement, welding items, tools, tackles, fasteners, consumables, spares and other project materials.
- Ensure that contractors follow proper workmanship, quality standards, safety practices and site discipline.
- Verify measurement of work, quantity of work completed, contractor progress and basic site records before forwarding for review.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and usage of project materials, tools, machinery, spares and consumables at site.
- Supervise lifting, shifting, loading, unloading and placement of heavy machinery and structures with proper safety precautions.
- Ensure safety during welding, gas cutting, grinding, height work, electrical work, lifting work, confined work and heavy machinery erection.
- Maintain proper coordination between existing plant operations and current project execution so that production activities are not unnecessarily disturbed.
- Support trial run, testing, commissioning and handover of installed machinery and project works.
- Maintain discipline at site and ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and contractor resources.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should have:

- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in industrial site execution, mechanical erection, plant expansion, project development or industrial maintenance projects.
- Mechanical background is mandatory.



Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification will be preferred.
- Experience in mineral processing plants, graphite plants, beneficiation plants, mining industries, crusher plants, steel plants, cement plants, sponge iron plants, power plants, chemical plants or similar industrial units will be preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of machinery erection, fabrication, alignment, welding, fitting, civil foundation work and industrial project execution.
- Ability to handle contractors, labour, site staff and multiple departments.
- Ability to work in remote industrial locations and manage site-level challenges independently.
- Good understanding of safety, quality, planning, manpower utilisation and daily reporting.
- Must be sincere, disciplined, responsible, field-oriented and capable of taking ownership of assigned work.
- Must be able to work under pressure and complete project work within defined timelines.
- Candidates having experience in graphite, mining, mineral beneficiation or similar process industries will be given preference.

Nature of Work

This is a site-based role. The selected candidate shall be actively involved in the development, erection, installation, expansion and commissioning-related work of the company’s plants at LPR, BMD and BNB.

The role requires practical field presence, strong technical supervision, proper coordination, daily follow-up and regular reporting to the Management.
