Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end underwriting activities for Non-Motor insurance products.

Prepare and float RFQs (Request for Quotations) to multiple insurance companies.

Obtain, compare, negotiate, and finalize quotations to provide the best insurance solutions for clients.

Evaluate client requirements, risk profiles, and policy terms before recommending suitable coverage.

Coordinate with insurance companies for underwriting approvals, quotations, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy servicing.

Perform Quality Check (QC/QCR) of quotations, policy documents, endorsements, and other underwriting-related documents to ensure accuracy.

Manage renewal data, monitor upcoming renewals, and ensure timely renewal follow-ups with insurers and clients.

Maintain accurate underwriting records, MIS reports, quotation trackers, and policy databases.

Ensure timely follow-up with insurers and internal stakeholders for pending quotations, policies, endorsements, and renewals.

Prepare comparison sheets and present the most suitable insurance options to the sales team and clients.

Work on insurer portals for quotation generation, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and downloading policy documents.

Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and internal company processes.





Provide technical underwriting support and product guidance to the sales and operations teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Non-Motor Insurance Products, including:

Property Insurance

Marine Insurance

Engineering Insurance

Liability Insurance

Group Health Insurance (GMC)

Group Personal Accident (GPA)

Workmen Compensation (WC)

Cyber Insurance

Miscellaneous Commercial Insurance Products

Hands-on experience in RFQ preparation, quotation comparison, policy issuance, renewals, and underwriting coordination.

Good understanding of Non-Motor underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and insurance policy wordings.

Experience in Quality Check (QC/QCR) of quotations and policy documents.

Knowledge of insurance company portals and policy management systems.

Strong product knowledge across major Non-Motor insurance segments.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, and MIS reporting.

Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
