Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and performance standards. This role includes creating detailed documentation of security controls and overseeing the smooth transition of security operations to a cloud-managed environment. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security architecture to support evolving business needs and technological advancements, ensuring robust protection and operational efficiency within the cloud infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security architecture with business strategies and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and assess emerging security threats and recommend enhancements to the cloud security framework.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on security best practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across cloud environments.
Skilled & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Experience with identity and access management concepts and technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and architecture.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Experience in documenting security controls and managing security operations transitions.
