- Patient care: Providing comprehensive care for assigned patients, including:
- Admission and discharge
- Bathing, oral care, and nail care
- Providing bedside care
- Administering medications, injections, and other treatments
- Monitoring vital signs
- Performing diagnostic tests
- Maintaining patient records
- Health promotion: Educating patients and their families about health and illness prevention
- Coordination: Working with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Safety: Ensuring the safety of patients, ward linen, furniture, and equipment
- Communication: Communicating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Training: Regularly attending training to stay up to date on new procedures and healthcare developments
