Job Brief

Are you passionate about banking technology and problem-solving? We are looking for an experienced OBPM Technical Consultant to join our growing team in Chennai.

In this role, you will work on exciting payment banking projects using Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM). You will help build, support, and improve payment systems used by leading banks.

If you enjoy coding, integrations, troubleshooting, and working with modern banking technologies, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

- Develop and customize solutions in Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM 14.3 or above)
- Support product implementation and production activities
- Work on payment system integrations using SOAP and REST APIs
- Handle SWIFT and ISO payment message integrations
- Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve interface failures
- Review logs, debug applications, and provide technical fixes
- Participate in code reviews, deployments, and release activities
- Work closely with business teams, banks, and technical teams
- Follow SDLC processes and project standards
- Support middleware technologies like JMS, MQ, and OSB
- Work with application servers such as WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBoss
- Use Git and Jira for project tracking and version control

Qualifications and Required Skills

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in OBPM (14.3 or higher)
- Strong experience in Java and J2EE technologies
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL




- Experience in SOAP and REST web services
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
- Experience with WebLogic, Tomcat, or JBoss
- Knowledge of JMS, MQ, or OSB
- Experience in production support and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Agile or Waterfall SDLC models
- Strong debugging and log analysis skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SWIFT MT/MX or ISO 20022 messages
- Knowledge of OBIEE or BI Publisher (BIP)
- Exposure to DevOps and Microservices
- Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of PKI, SSO, or SAML security concepts
- Experience with JUnit or JMeter
- Familiarity with Eclipse and Ant
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
- Experience in queue configuration and WebLogic setup
- Multi-entity project exposure
