Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and cutting-edge Senior Design Engineer to lead product and tooling design activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing engineering designs, creating manufacturing solutions, conducting simulations, and supporting product development from concept to production. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in CAD software, tooling design, and engineering analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Siemens NX.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with engineering standards.
- Design and develop Jigs, Fixtures, Dies, and manufacturing tooling for production requirements.
- Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design validation.
- Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation studies using ANSYS to evaluate product performance, strength, and durability.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with production, quality, tooling, and project teams to ensure successful product implementation.
- Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.




- Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, technical reports, and engineering change records.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Siemens NX.
- Strong experience in Jig & Fixture Design and Die Design.
- Hands-on experience with FEA Simulation and ANSYS.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, sheet metal, machining, welding, and tooling.
- Understanding of GD&T;, DFM, DFA, and engineering drawing standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in product development and tooling projects.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems.
- Exposure to project management and cross-functional team coordination.
- Experience working with automotive, industrial, heavy engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
