Role: OCP Engineer

EXP: 3+Years

Location : Bangalore,Noida

Role Summary: Seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Engineer to ensure the mission-critical uptime and performance of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).The candidate shall be the primary contact for cluster health, responsible for proactive monitoring, complex incident resolution, and the advancement of CI/CD delivery models.Key ResponsibilitiesCluster Management & Performance Engineering:

- Platform Uptime: Maintain high availability for all OpenShift clusters. Manage nodes, pods, persistent volumes, routes, and services with a focus on stability.
- Proactive Monitoring: Instrument and maintain monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, DataDog) to detect anomalies before they impact end-users.
- Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting for OCP API issues, network connectivity, storage subsystems, and resource contention. Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

CI/CD & Automation Excellence:

- Pipeline Engineering: Architect and support CI/CD workflows, integrating Tekton and Jenkins seamlessly into the OCP ecosystem.
- Automation: Eliminate operational toil by developing advanced automation scripts (Ansible, Bash, Python).
- Deployment Lifecycle:



Oversee write/configure Helm chart management and deployment configurations in partnership with development squads.

Lifecycle & Security:

- Scaling & Upgrades: Execute version upgrades and patch management with a "minimal-to-zero downtime" mandate.
- Security & Compliance: Coordinate with security teams to enforce OCP best practices, ensuring all clusters meet strict compliance standards.
- DR & Business Continuity: Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies are implemented and tested.

Required Qualifications

- Expertise: Hands-on experience in managing enterprise-grade OpenShift (OCP) environments.
- Automation: Advanced proficiency in one or any of Bash Shell, Ansible, Python scripting
- CI/CD: Deep experience in pipeline orchestration using Tekton and Jenkins.
- Observability: Ability to diagnose complex issues using Prometheus/Grafana or similar observability stacks.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to collaborate with developers, security teams, and product owners to onboard applications successfully.
