Service Engineer

Job Summary

The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer sites. The role ensures maximum equipment uptime, prompt technical support, and high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining service quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, test, and perform preventive maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose technical issues, carry out repairs, and coordinate with the technical team for major breakdowns.
- Attend customer service calls promptly, prepare service reports, and maintain accurate service records.
- Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- Maintain service tools, spare parts inventory, and ensure timely replacement of components.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Quality, and Stores for technical support and spare parts availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards,



and safety regulations during all service activities.
- Support the Sales team with technical demonstrations, installation planning, and after-sales service.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Good communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for service reporting and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualification

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineer

Experience

- 0–3 years in Service, Maintenance, Installation, or Technical Support.
- Freshers with robust technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also apply.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
