# Job Opportunity – Senior JBOSS Middleware Architect

## Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced **Senior JBOSS Middleware Architect** with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and administering enterprise JBOSS middleware environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building **JBOSS Domain Mode** environments and **JBOSS clusters from scratch**, along with configuring highly available production environments.

## Key Responsibilities

* Design, architect, and implement enterprise JBOSS middleware environments.
* Build and administer **JBOSS Domain Mode** environments from scratch.
* Configure and manage **JBOSS clusters**, including Domain Controllers, Host Controllers, Server Groups, and Managed Servers.
* Configure production-ready middleware environments with High Availability (HA), clustering, load balancing, security, SSL, and performance tuning.
* Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, patching, and troubleshooting of JBOSS environments.
* Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams for deployments and production support.
* Automate middleware deployment and administration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
* Support middleware applications hosted on AWS infrastructure.

## Mandatory Technical Skills

* 10+ years of Middleware Administration experience.




* Strong hands-on experience in **Red Hat JBOSS Administration**.
* **Mandatory:** Extensive experience with **JBOSS Domain Mode** (not just Standalone Mode).
* Strong knowledge of:

* Domain Controllers
* Host Controllers
* Server Groups
* Managed Servers
* Proven experience **architecting and building JBOSS clusters from scratch**.
* Experience configuring **production-ready JBOSS environments**, including:

* High Availability (HA)
* Clustering
* Load Balancing
* Performance Tuning
* Security Hardening
* Experience beyond routine patching and deployments, with complete end-to-end environment setup and administration.
* Experience with **Oracle WebLogic** (Oracle Forms is an added advantage).
* Robust Linux Administration and Shell Scripting skills.
* Good understanding of SDLC, programming concepts, and data structures.
* Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
* Experience supporting applications on **AWS**.
* Hands-on experience with **Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins**.
* Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
