Role Purpose

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, washrooms, common areas, and staff spaces. The role goes beyond cleaning—it ensures every guest walks into a fresh, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Room Maintenance

- Clean and prepare guest rooms before every check-in.
- Change bed linen, towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Ensure bathrooms are spotless and fully stocked.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them immediately.
- Maintain room presentation according to Firgun standards.

Common Area Upkeep

- Keep the reception, café, corridors, terraces, washrooms, and outdoor areas clean.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all public areas regularly.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and cleaned throughout the day.

Laundry Management

- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linen and towels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.




- Report damaged linen or shortages.

Inventory & Supplies

- Maintain housekeeping inventory and cleaning supplies.
- Inform the reporting manager before stock levels run low.
- Ensure proper storage and responsible usage of cleaning materials.

Guest Support

- Respond politely to guest housekeeping requests.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Property Manager regarding room readiness.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Hygiene & Safety

- Follow hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Report any hazards, damages, or safety concerns immediately.

Candidate Requirements

- Prior housekeeping experience in hotels, homestays, hostels, or resorts is preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a mountain environment.
- Honest, disciplined, and dependable.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail and cleanliness.
