(Smart Energy Systems, IoT Devices & EVSE Hardware)
Purpose
To design, develop, test, and support electronic hardware systems for IoT-based electrical automation, smart energy metering, EV charging systems (EVSE), and centralized monitoring solutions for buildings and industrial applications.
The engineer shall be responsible for complete electronic hardware development including schematic design, PCB development, power electronics interfaces, communication hardware, prototype validation, and integration with embedded firmware systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electronic Circuit Design
- Design analog and digital electronic circuits for:
- Smart energy meters
- EV chargers
- IoT gateways
- Automation controllers
- Data acquisition systems
- Monitoring devices
- Develop:
- Voltage sensing circuits
- Current sensing circuits
- Protection circuits
- Relay driver circuits
- Signal conditioning circuits
- Isolation circuits
- Communication interfaces
2. PCB Design & Development
- Prepare:
- Schematics
- PCB layouts
- Gerber files
- BOMs
- Manufacturing documentation
- Design:
- Multi-layer PCBs
- High-current PCB layouts
- Low-noise signal circuits
- Communication boards
- Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors.
3. Power Electronics & EVSE Hardware
- Design hardware for:
- AC EV chargers
- DC charging interfaces
- Smart load management systems
- Metering interfaces
- Integrate:
- Contactors
- Protection devices
- Energy metering ICs
- CTs and sensors
- RFID systems
- Communication modules
- Support compliance with EV charging standards.
