Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Windows/Hyper-V Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to manage, monitor, and support Windows server environments and virtualization infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for system monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, and ensuring high availability of IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:L1 Responsibilities (Basic Monitoring & Support):

- Monitor CPU, memory, and overall system performance of Windows servers.
- Perform disk management including partition creation for different server types.
- Manage disk space for OS partitions and ensure optimal utilization.
- Maintain and monitor system log files regularly.
- Handle user account management (creation, modification, deletion).
- Monitor incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
- Execute request fulfillment as per defined SLAs.

L2 Responsibilities (Advanced Administration & Support):

- Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists.
- Perform event log analysis to ensure server health and integrity.
- Manage DHCP scopes, IP reservations, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and maintain DNS services.




- Perform System State backups and ensure data integrity.
- Manage and reconfigure terminal services, cluster services, and file servers.
- Provide support for system restoration and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
- Handle OS reinstallation and recovery activities due to system failures.
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change management processes.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization.
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP).
- Understanding of backup and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Robust communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications like Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE) are a plus.

Pay: ₹43,000.00 per month
