Job Summary

The Cafe Assistant is responsible for assisting kitchen staff in the preparation and service of food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The role supports cooks and chefs by performing basic food preparation, cleaning, and organizing kitchen equipment

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in basic food preparation (cutting vegetables, cleaning ingredients, etc.).

· Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits as per the menu requirements.

· Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.

· Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.

· Support cooks in assembling and plating dishes during service hours.

· Dispose of waste and manage kitchen cleanliness according to hygiene standards.

· Refill supplies and assist with inventory management when needed.

· Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI / company policies).





· Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Store Incharge.

Qualifications & Skills

· Minimum 10th and above.

· Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or food service establishment preferred.

· Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food handling.

· Physically fit to handle standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.

· Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.

· Willingness to learn and take instructions.

Work Workplace

· Fast-paced kitchen environment.

· Requires working in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per schedule.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
