About the Role

Akshar Arbol International School is seeking an energetic and dynamic Middle School Economics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge curriculum (Cambridge Lower Secondary / IGCSE foundation). The ideal candidate will foster inquiry-based learning, help students connect economic concepts to real-world context, and nurture critical thinking and analytical skills in adolescent learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum & Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge Middle School curriculum framework.
- Inquiry-Based Learning: Facilitate interactive activities, case studies, and discussions that connect fundamental economic principles to everyday life and local/global issues.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Design formative and summative assessments, track student academic progress, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning growth.
- Classroom Management & Student Support:



Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that caters to the social, emotional, and academic development of middle school students.
- Collaboration & Parent Communication: Collaborate with subject-line peers, participate in departmental meetings, and regularly update parents on student progress.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Economics at the Middle or High School level.
- Syllabus Experience: Prior teaching experience in an international curriculum (Cambridge / IGCSE / IB) is strongly preferred.

Core Competencies:

- Robust subject matter knowledge and passion for Economics.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern educational technology and inquiry-driven pedagogy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
