The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured at the Pragya Refrigeration & Electricals Pvt Ltd (a manufacturing vertical of Rishabh Enterprises) and meet the required quality standards. This role involves monitoring the production processes, inspecting products, and implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
(i) Quality Management:
* Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
* Evaluate and improve the existing quality management system.
* Maintain quality control documentation and records.
* Inspection and Testing:
* Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they conform to specifications.
* Conduct tests and inspections at various stages of production.
* Verify the accuracy of analyzers and test equipment.
(ii)Supplier Quality Control:
* Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery date.
* Ensure raw materials from suppliers meet quality standards.
* Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain inspection and test records.
* Prepare and maintain engineering design drawings and shop drawings.
* Ensure all quality control documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
(iii)Training and Support:
* Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
* Provide technical support to management on quality-related matters.
(iv) Coordination:
* Coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Sales to ensure effective supply chain management.
* Schedule production stages to minimize costs and meet delivery timeframes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Experience in quality control, preferably in the HVAC&R; industry.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
