The E-commerce Manager will oversee the entire e-commerce operation, focusing on driving online sales across multiple channels (e.g., online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer platforms, and social media). This role involves managing the end-to-end e-commerce process, including product strategy, pricing, logistics, digital marketing, and customer experience. The E-commerce Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and ensure the smooth operation of the e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that drives online sales growth across all channels. Identify new opportunities for expansion and innovation in the online retail space.
- Marketplace Management: Manage relationships and operations across third-party online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart). Ensure product listings, pricing, and promotions are optimized to maximize sales on these platforms.
- Digital Marketing and Sales Channels: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and affiliate programs. Ensure consistent brand messaging and promotions across all channels.
- Inventory and Logistics Management: Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure adequate inventory levels, effective order fulfillment, and timely delivery to customers.
Monitor and manage stock levels across different sales channels.
- Customer Experience: Oversee the customer experience from browsing to post-purchase, ensuring customer satisfaction through seamless transactions, accurate product descriptions, and effective communication. Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to online orders.
- Pricing and Promotions: Develop and implement pricing strategies that are competitive and aligned with business goals. Plan and execute promotional campaigns, discounts, and sales events to drive traffic and increase conversions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data and customer behavior across different platforms to identify trends, optimize performance, and inform decision-making. Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, payment processors, shipping partners, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations and cost-effective solutions.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all e-commerce operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection, privacy laws, and secure payment processing.
