About the Role

Astec Valves & Fittings Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Graduate and Diploma Engineers to join our team as trainees. This six-month structured training program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, procurement processes, and project execution while developing technical and qualified skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase

- Assist in sourcing and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, deliveries, and documentation.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Monitor inventory levels and support material planning.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Production

- Support daily production planning and execution.
- Monitor shop floor activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Assist in process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth production flow.
- Prepare production reports and maintain documentation.

Projects

- Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring.




- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors.
- Track project schedules, material availability, and documentation.
- Support installation, commissioning, and project reporting activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned project tasks.

Eligibility

- BE/B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering)
- Diploma in Mechanical or related Engineering
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
