Position: Sr. Field Application Engineer- Mechanical

Qualification: Ph.D/ ME/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 6-10 Years

Location: Bangalore / Pune / Delhi

Job Summary:

The role is primarily focused on delivering CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) solutions through technical consulting, application support, and customer engagement. The incumbent will work extensively on FEM/CFD-based simulation tools, supporting pre-sales and post-sales activities, conducting demonstrations, and enabling customers to effectively utilize CAE technologies for engineering analysis and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops focused on CAE (FEM/CFD) solutions

· Understand customer engineering challenges and recommend appropriate simulation-driven solutions

· Support pre-sales activities by aligning CAE capabilities with customer requirements

· Install, configure, and validate CAE software at customer sites

· Conduct in-depth training sessions for customers, including industry professionals and academicians

· Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving simulation-related issues

· Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams for solution customization and successful project execution

· Assist customers in model setup,



analysis workflows, and interpretation of simulation results

· Ensure timely delivery of assigned technical tasks and maintain high customer satisfaction

Technical Expertise (CAE Focus):

· Strong hands-on experience with CAE tools such as ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, Altair, or similar platforms

· Understanding of simulation domains:

- Structural Analysis
- CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
- Thermal and Multiphysics simulations

· Knowledge of meshing techniques, boundary conditions, and solver settings

· Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively

Soft Skills

· Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in technical discussions

· Collaborative team player with the ability to work across cross-functional teams

· Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to dynamic environments

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure

· Strong client-handling, persuasion, and relationship management skills

Travel: Expected Travel 30-40%

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
