We are seeking a dedicated and technically competent Lab Assistant to support the effective functioning of our Computer Laboratories.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of computer laboratories.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Install and update operating systems, software applications, and antivirus solutions.
- Provide technical support to faculty, students, and laboratory users during practical sessions.
- Ensure all computer systems, networking equipment, and internet connectivity function efficiently.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventories, software licenses, and asset records.
- Assist faculty in conducting laboratory classes, examinations, workshops, and technical events.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and coordinate hardware repairs when required.
- Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and adherence to university policies.
- Monitor utilization of laboratory resources and report technical issues promptly.
- Assist in setting up project demonstrations, seminars, and departmental activities.
- Support data backup,



system security, and user account management as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria

- /Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in managing computer laboratories, educational institutions, or IT support environments.
- Freshers with solid technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Technical Skills

- Installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Basic networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, routers, switches).
- Hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Installation and management of software applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and educational software.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and antivirus management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.

Compensation

Salary shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and institutional norms.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
