We are looking for an experienced Senior Draftsperson (Damper Industry) with strong background in mechanical drafting to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication documents for dampers.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings for heavy duty dampers such as guillotine, multi-louvre, butterfly, etc. using AutoCad/ Autodesk Inventor / SolidWorks
- Develop fabrication and assembly drawings as per customer specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and ready for shop floor use
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering change requests or customer feedback
- Maintain drawing registers, revision history, and document control as per ISO standards
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and parts lists linked to drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards (IS, ASME, etc.)
- Support project engineers during customer drawing approvals and submissions

Required Qualifications & Experience





- Diploma or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mechanical/industrial drafting, preferably in dampers, ducting, or related sheet metal fabrication industry
- Proficiency in 3D softwares such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
- Strong understanding of GD&T;, sheet metal fabrication tolerances, and welding symbols
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with damper components such as blades, frames, seals, linkages, and actuator mounting arrangements is an advantage

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
