Job Summary:

- The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for manual testing of internal and vendor-supplied software and systems, including those associated with smartphones and telecommunications products.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Write test plans from the requirements, specifications, and test strategies.
- Debugging and determining the root cause.
- Planning, authoring, debugging and executing performance test.
- Knowledge of Design, Execution, and Reviews of Test cases and Test Scripts.
- Good knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Involved in GUI testing, Functional and Regression Testing, knowledge about Test Director.
- Manual testing (Website Testing).
- Mobile testing (iPhone/Android, 2D & 3D Game / Web application testing).
- Writing report on the test results and quality problems and analyses of the same.




- Reports results to the QA manager.
- Raise an alert when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project.

Skills:
- Ability to do strong root cause analysis.
- Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies.
- Use versioning systems to code test scripts.
- Create and perform test campaigns whenever it is necessary to fit in the overall planning.
- Use a bug tracking database to report bugs.
- Solid oral and written communication skills are essential.
